A WACKY conspiracy theorist says apocalyptic storms and earthquakes will soon engulf Earth following a close encounter with the mysterious planet Nibiru.
Gordon James Gianninoto, who, among other dubious claims, believes he has been in contact with aliens, claims the Doomsday flyby will wipe out 90% of humanity in an hour.
This is because it will cause the Earth’s poles to swap, disrupting our planet’s weather systems and triggering a global catastrophe, he claims.
Gianninoto, a fisherman and radio host based in the US state of Maine, made the comments on conspiratorial radio station Coast to Coast AM.
He claimed that Nibiru, a mysterious planet that NASA says does not exist, will soon trigger the apocalypse when it moves within 15 million kilometers of our planet.
Gianninoto said, “What is going to happen at the beginning is that we are going to have an increase in earthquakes, volcanoes, tidal waves, larger storms.
“We’re going to have all kinds of things like that and the pace is going to accelerate to the point where governments can’t save anyone. You are alone and you are going to see it happen.
“Right before, when planet X finally gets far enough away from the Sun that everyone on Earth looks up and wonders” oh my God, how did she get there and they never got it to us? said? How? ‘Or’ What ? Who lied to us? “
“When that happens, that day – mark it on your calendar – because there are 49 days left until a pole change. “
Nibiru has been the subject of doomsday conspiracy theories for decades, with many weirdos believing it to be the missing tenth planet in our solar system.
They say the orbit of the invisible world will one day bring it dangerously close to Earth – although scientists have never found proof that it even exists.
When Nibiru finally appears, a shift in Earth’s magnetic poles will cause the oceans to rise dramatically, according to Gianninoto.
He estimates they will reach up to 213 meters – but has provided no evidence for his claims.
NASA categorically denies the existence of Nibiru, also known as Planet X, and has dismissed theories about it as baseless online hoaxes.
NASA’s Dr David Morrison said: “There is no credible evidence for the existence of Nibiru. There are no images, no tracking, no astronomical observations.
“I can say quite precisely how we know that Planet X or Nibiru does not exist and does not threaten Earth.
“First, if there was a planet heading towards the inner solar system that was going to approach Earth, it would already be inside the orbit of Mars, it would be bright, it would be easily visible from there. naked eye – if it was up there it would be easy to see it, we could all see it.
“The crazy thing is people say they watch it, but never tell us where to look so we can check it out.
“It doesn’t take an astronomer to tell us that there isn’t a bright object up there appearing in the night sky and heading toward Earth.”
This isn’t the first time that conspiratorial freaks have claimed that Nibiru will end our planet.
Earlier this month, David Meade, the merchant of the end of the Christian world, said that Nibiru would destroy our planet on April 23 – a scandalous claim that clearly never came to fruition.
Similar predictions were made online in January by a pair of bonkers preachers.
